Fundamentals ClassThis is an 8 week course from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Sundays. The Fundamentals Class is a structured course introducing the concepts and principles of grappling; we cover the basics of stand up and ground fighting. This course is an introduction for new members to complement our regular practices.
The cost is $100, plus a yearly membership to AAU.
The next fundamentals class is starting April 24th! If you are interested in the next session, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
Regular PracticeEvening practices: Sunday at 7:00; Wednesday, and Thursday at 7:30.
Drop in fees are $15. Yearly AAU membership is required. (If a student wishes to compete, additional sport-specific membership may be needed [e.g. USJA]).
Our goal is to produce well-rounded grapplers. Our practice focuses equally on stand up and ground skills, which include throws, takedowns, chokes, joint locks, and pins. We strive for functionality and continuous growth as individuals and as grapplers.
The club is not a commercial venture; we are a community of individuals with a passion for rolling about on a mat. We require that new members also attend the fundamentals class or have previous experience verified by one of our instructors.
